Abstract: While creating the image intensifier tubes, microchannel plates need to be well-designed as they magnify the input signals more accurately. These microchannel plates ensure high resolution, achieve good response time and enlarge electron images. Hence, they are widely used in image and non-image applications. We have explained the principles and manufacturing microchannel plates with a well-created design.
