Open-Source Provisioning and Billing System for Distributed Cloud Computing for Environmental Applications

Abstract: In large telemetry systems, several hundred RTUs transmit data to intelligence algorithms and store it in a database accessible through a web interface over the Internet. This paper discusses how SlapOS (Open-Source Provisioning and Billing System for Distributed Cloud Computing) centrally collects environmental information from various sensors at remote observation points.
