This paper introduces the significance and purpose of realizing the rapid conversion of CAD data to GIS data, and discusses the technical ideas of the conversion process. By using the computer-aided design data processing method, this paper has realized the computer-aided design data batch transformation and processing. It took the topographic diagram as the data pool to instance demonstrated and provided a feasible plan for the computer-aided design topographic diagram transformation which can maintain the data well the precision and the integrity.
