Global Innovation Index as an Evidence-based Tool for Policy-makers

Abstract: In this concise study, we delve into the Global Innovation Index and its role as a tool for policy-makers. We highlight the pivotal role of R&D funding in driving innovation, using empirical data from Uzbekistan as a case study. The global index is also briefly outlined, with the aid of compelling illustrative figures to support the data presentation.
