Wireless Sensor Networks: New Deployment Topology and DV-hop Algorithm Improvement-

Wireless sensor networks (WSN) have become an integral part of our daily lives due to their small size, smart technology, lower cost, and wireless communication capabilities. In this paper, we propose a new WSN topology based on a hierarchical routing protocol. Additionally, we propose an enhancement to the DV-hop algorithm. Our proposed topology differs from existing approaches, and our enhanced algorithm improves upon the original DV-hop algorithm. The performance evaluations are globally satisfactory.
